CONOR NILAND LEADS IRELAND

Congratulations to Conor Niland on leading Ireland to a tremendous victory over Turkey in the Davis Cup match over the weekend (March 6-7). Conor, currently ranked 241 in the world, produced a stunning display to turn over Turkey's No. 1, Marsel Ilhan, ranked over 100 spots ahead of Conor at 122, in straight sets on Friday afternoon, 6-3, 6-2, 6-1, setting the tone for a comprehensive 4-1 Ireland win. With Louk Sorensen withdrawn injured, Conor delivered an inspired leadership performance in the No. 1 slot.

In an ironic twist, Conor has drawn Ilhan in his first round match at this week's ATP Tour Challenger Tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, where Ilhan is second seed.
