On Tuesday the 26th May, the management committee presented a summary of the Holohan Report, which was commissioned by the membership in 2007. The purpose of the report was to examine the operations of the club and to recommend strategies to improve all aspects of performance over the next 5 years. The meeting was well attended by over 60 members. Management is to ellicit assistance from the membership to form working groups, who will propose how best to implement the report. As part of the presentation management also provided an update on the state of the Club's finances. The club must find ways to effect significant immediate savings in club running costs. Management informed the attendance that steps were in train to effect these savings.
